Five Reasons to Thank God Even Amidst Trials and Tribulations

In this article, titled— Five Reasons to Thank God Even Amidst Trials and Tribulations—We will be providing five reasons to offer praise and thanksgiving to God during trials. Because sometimes it isn’t that we don’t want to offer praise and thank God “but rather, with the sheer volume and clatter of our circumstances it can be easy to forget all of God’s wonderful benefits (And reflect on these things) when surviving seems to be the only thing on one’s mind. Sometimes, we just need the reminder as to the wonderful reality of who we praise and commit our thanksgiving and worship to.”
The smell of roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, and bundles of hung-up jackets with a lingering scent of Autumn air are officially upon us.

With the arrival of November, countless families and individuals are beginning to sit down in moments of reflection and meditation, recounting all the wonderful blessings God has given to them. Yet for many, this November is a month where enduring deep suffering, trials, and tribulations are their current reality. If this sounds like you, whether you have recently undergone trauma, loss, or are facing a long-standing mountain…sometimes offering praise and thanksgiving to God amidst these very issues can feel like an impossible task. But often times (when we get into this heart posture of struggling to offer praise) it isn’t that we don’t want to give God thanks. But rather, with the sheer volume and clatter of our circumstances it can be easy to forget all of God’s wonderful benefits (And reflect on these things) when surviving seems to be the only thing on one’s mind. Sometimes, we just need the reminder as to the wonderful reality of who we praise and commit our thanksgiving and worship to.

Because when the enemy comes in like a roaring flood, and endeavors to make someone hopeless and or keep them there…worshipping God, praising Him and thanking Him for who He is is the rope that pulls us from the pit of despair.
Today, we aim to offer you encouragement, as well as five reminders/ things you can praise and thank God for when life gets loud and you need the reminder of God’s love and character:
He already knows what resides in our hearts, God wants us to lay these very things at His feet in prayer, confession, frustration, confusion and whatever else is taking your energy, and trust Him with it. When a broken heart keeps us from operating the way we have been called to, God promises that if we come to Him and ask for Him to help us, that by the power of the Holy spirit, He will do just that.
